Who are we?

India Sensor Evaluation and Training (Indi-SET) is an independent research facility established by Center for Study of Science, Technology and Policy (CSTEP) in Bengaluru, India, to advance scientific evaluation and comprehensive performance assessment of low-cost air quality sensors.

Indi-SET aims to enhance real-time air quality monitoring through commercially available, scalable, and affordable sensors for evidence-based air quality management. By bridging rigorous scientific validation with practical deployment, the facility supports researchers, policymakers, industries, and urban planners in making informed environmental decisions.
