Aerospec Visit

Name of the visitor: Mr. Arthur Blaser

Mr. Arthur Blaser, Product Engineer and Business Development Lead at Aerospec, visited the Indi-SET facility to learn about CSTEP’s ongoing work in aerosol characterization and air quality monitoring. Aerospec manufactures the Automated Aerosol InfraRed (AIR) Monitor, an advanced instrument capable of analyzing aerosol chemical composition and identifying source signatures.

During the visit, Mr. Blaser was given a tour of the laboratory, where advanced monitoring and analytical instruments were showcased, followed by a visit to the test bed featuring reference-grade monitors and the sensor co-location facility. Discussions focused on CSTEP’s research on aerosol chemical speciation using advanced instrumentation, applications of such technologies in ongoing research projects, key findings from these studies, and opportunities for future collaboration between Aerospec and CSTEP.
