Representatives from Airparif, the organizer of the AIRLAB Microsensors Challenge 2025, visited the CSTEP IndiSet facility to understand more about the operation of the reference monitoring systems here in CSTEP, review QA/QC procedures for challenge data, discuss data-sharing processes after deployment phase is over, and share insights on hurdles encountered during the microsensor challenge's initial phase.
During the visit, the guests were given a tour of the laboratory, including the test bed and reference monitoring instruments, followed by a meeting with Dr. Piyush Bhardwaj. On the same day, a separate discussion was held. Discussion points focused on the QA/QC protocols for reference instruments, results from previous evaluations conducted at the Indi-SET facility, and the data management system used for the challenge.
On the following day, the guests visited selected sensor sites within the Bengaluru sensor network operated under Indi-SET to understand the operational protocols and field deployment practices managed by CSTEP.
